Dry ice

In: Antarctica

Below -78,5° Celsius, CO2 transforms from a gas into a solid state called dry ice. This thermodynamic process is known as deposition or desublimation. On my way back home I will use dry ice to keep my blood samples cool during the transport to Europe.

As I walk outside to take my first -80°C photo, I wonder if the CO2 I exhale, will just drop down in front of me..

But it guess it was,
so much further than the tropopause,

The Milky Way,
who took my breath away..

Temperature -80°C. Windchill -96.6°C.
